  2. Flash got, it’s also firefox addons, so make sure you already installed it too.
  3. GetLeftToGo. Eeemm, nothing is better than a free and open source software.

What i feel about firefox 3

Well, it’s superb, it’s fast, it’s eye catching. But i feel that there’s more bandwidth consumption and a little bit unstable. Overall, i like this Firefox 3.

How to install RPM on Debian derivatives linux (eg: Ubuntu)

As you already knew, the default installation file for Debian based distro is .deb. But some times, you can’t find the deb file type for the installer. On this condition, you could use the RPM version.

Here’s steps on how to install rpm software on debian based linux distro:

  1. First, you have to Install alien.
  2. Now convert deb to rpm by executing this command as root by using su: sudo alien -k binary-package.rpm”
  3. Now install debian package as usual as root: “sudo dpkg -i binary-deb-package-created-.deb

How to install Winbox on Ubuntu using wine

Today i have some problem, i was installing Wine as a runtime to run my winbox. I have installed the version 0.9.59 and 0.9.61 but the winbox still cannot runs perfectly. I then tried to download the version 0.9.22. I then tried to install it (the 0.9.22) but not all packages are available. There is a missing dependency libldap2.

After browsing for a while, i then finally found the solution, it’s by installing using this command $ sudo dpkg -i –ignore-depends=libldap2,libartsc0 wine_0.9.22-0ubuntu3_i386.deb

Wubi, how to install ubuntu hardy heron from windows

Wubi is a software that is officially supported on Ubuntu Hardy Heron onwards (8.04) that enables user to install linux from windows. But you may also using a trick which enables you to install Ubuntu 7.10 on Windows using a binary released by Wubi Installer project (although it is discontinued right now).
